  Front office staff at this location are terrible... I have had one problem after another when I've come to this facility.. I initially saw nurse practitioner Nicole Flowers and was scheduled to see her again for a follow-up.. I was literally 90 seconds late for the follow up appointment due to a traffic accident -
  
  when I walked into the facility - I was informed by the office staff that I would not be seen because I was a minute and and a half late - Nurse Flowers had informed them to cancel my appointment as a no-show. I begged them to talk with her and see if she would see me since I scheduled time off work to get there - and for crying out loud it was 90 seconds - (in my experience, most doctors offices give you five or ten minutes grace period).. they went back and talked to her and she indicated she had no interest in seeing me and was on her way out for the day !!??!! My question is - where is the basic patient care and concern???.. The receptionist just shook her head and said she understood, and that I certainly wasn't the first person Nicole Flowers had treated that way. The receptionist also informed me, it would be in my best interest to show up at least 15 minutes early for future appointment to ensure they wouldn't cancel me as a no-show. I decided right then and there I would never make another appointment with Ms. Flowers, even if my life depended on it..
  
  I made an appointment with a different nurse practitioner and returned a few weeks later.. Ironically I would end up waiting 45 minutes to be seen.. Apparently there is a double standard as they do not value your time - but they expect you to value theirs.. The only saving grace - I really liked the nurse practitioner I saw (Imogene) - she was very good and personable..
  
  I went for another follow-up appointment today and was told (in a very unpleasant manner) that my insurance was not valid.. Again by the front office staff - who again were very unprofessional .. turns out they had a new computer system that was not working properly.. I had to get on the phone with my insurance provider and get proof that my insurance (which my husband has had for 26 years) was In fact valid.. this set me back almost 45 minutes to be seen and I was subsequently late to another appointment and wound up having to reschedule..
  
  When I was finally seen I was told to start a medication that I already had at home - however once I got home I realized the med was expired.. I called and left a message with the nurse practitioner's assistant at 11 a.m. (asking for a new prescription to be called into my Pharmacy and explaining the situation)... it is now 6:30 in the evening - no prescription has been called in, and there's been no return call from the doctor's office.. The prescription is for an antibiotic that I really need to start ASAP.... I am super frustrated..
  
  I definitely don't understand where the breakdown is and why there are so many problems at this office.. There is definitely a lack of professionalism and follow up.. It makes me very uneasy about the care I'm receiving if these are the kinds of things that are going on there..
